Our Areas of Interest
Our teams have the skills and experience in structuring all types of lending (debt, equity, mezzanine and others). These are primarily split into the main categories of short-term and long-term funding, trade and non-trade finance project financing.
The Trade Finance products fall under the short-term lending products and are typically 90-180 day revolving lines for imports and exports of commodities and finished goods, consumables, raw materials for manufacturing industries, oil and gas, medical drugs, and equipment finance among others depending on clients requirements (except for items excluded for financing under the IFC exclusion list and by other international conventions and agreements and in-country regulations).
The short-term non-trade structured finance bridging loans also fall under this category of short-term loans and are typically 6 to 36 months. These involve projects with confirmed long-term financing arrangements where the client requires short to medium-term bridging to bring the project to completion. These are projects where the long-term financiers do not have the capacity to manage or take a risk during the project implementation phase but are happy to take out the short-term funder once the project is up and running.
Long-term project finance include real estate deals, turnkey manufacturing facility set ups, public infrastructure projects, renewable energy project finance, finance of digital platforms for financial inclusion and revenue collection. These will range from 4 years to 20 years depending on project dynamics.
